MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in solar PV installation, with a demonstrated track record of successful project leadership.
Thorough knowledge of solar technology, installation techniques, and relevant electrical codes.
Certification in PV installation is highly preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot installation issues effectively.
Sound knowledge and skill of Electrical and Solar Panel installations
Several years of proven experience in solar PV project engineering, construction management, or installation.
In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems and components.
Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
Proactive and resourceful in finding solutions to technical and logistical challenges
A solid understanding of local and international solar regulations and industry best practices.
Must be able to work with various hand tools
Must have Working at Heights certificates
Must have a valid driver’s license Code 8 /10
Must have a Matric Certificate
Medically fit
This role involves both technical and supervisory responsibilities and requires someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in dynamic environments.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee the installation of solar PV systems from initial assessment through to final inspection, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Lead a team of installers, providing training, guidance, and support to foster skills development and enhance team performance.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to provide input on design and installation processes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct site evaluations to determine the best installation practices and assess any potential challenges.
Ensure all installations are completed on time and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients during installation, addressing inquiries and ensuring satisfaction with the installation process.
